Tore

Tore first fell in love with the thought of tattooing when watching Miami Ink with her Mum who would always tell her “you could do that!” In her last year of University, She started looking into how to get an apprenticeship with advice from a friend who was an avid collector. After being a long time customer at Mikes, Tore was put in touch with Colin who took her on as an apprentice. 9 years later, Tore has went from strength to strength as an artist, creating an incredible, unique style and a loyal customer base. 

 

Tore’s favorite styles to work with are Neo traditional and Japanese! Any thing with bold lines and bright colours. The sort of tattoos that stay looking sharp forever, and after seeing Tore’s healed work, we can confirm… they really do stay looking amazing!! Animal and Nature tattoos, Cartoons and of course - perhaps what she’s most known for - Cats, are amongst Tore’s favorite Concepts; taking inspiration from the likes of Sneaky Mitch, Jessica Penfold and the Legendary Japanese artist, Horitomo. 

 

When approaching a tattoo, Tore tries to Imagine each piece as if it were going to be tattooed on her - If its something she, herself would be happy to wear, she’s confident about tattooing it on someone else, knowing that she’ll enjoy working on it! As you can tell Tore thinks outside of the box, creating tattoos that are not only incredible, but they are completely unique! 

 

What she loves most about Tattooing, is that you can never know everything, but you can spend a whole lifetime trying! Everyone can teach you something new!
